The ways God directs us today are not limited to but include these five ways:
- Scripture. The Scripture is the primary means of divine guidance.
- The Holy Spirit.
- Godly counsel.
- Common sense.
- Circumstances.
How does God direct our path?
The Bible guides us to: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5, 6). But God’s ways are higher than our ways, and I had learned to rely on God in smaller matters my whole life.
Why do we need guidance from God?
