Organizational impact is the effect an organization has on society. Likewise, the impact an organization has on its community can be positive or negative. One way organizations impact their communities deals with social stratification, which is the way society classifies people into strata, or categories.
Community organization aims to organize, mobilize and educate people to build a sense of community. By doing so, the community gains power or influence over issues concerning their welfare.
Social organization is the process by which communities achieve their desired results for individuals and fami- lies, including the ability of individuals and families to demonstrate resiliency in the face of adversity and positive challenge.
